denim on denim

jeans: on (same fit) | shirt: j.crew (also love) | shoes: nordstrom | bag: rebecca minkoff (available colors) So, I've been at this blogging thing for awhile (or so it feels) and I'm still trying to nail down my point of view.  I feel like my style posts are kind of scattered, and there's not really a common thread.  I'm not always glamorous, or always colorful,  or always chic...  The one consistent thing I do is wear denim, in practically every look one way or another.  Today, it's denim and denim.  When I pair two denim items together, I think it's important to have contrast between your shades of denim.  Better yet, rock a printed denim and a solid one for mega-contrast.  I figure the more differentiated my top and bottom are, the less likely it looks like I'm wearing a denim jumpsuit.  But if I fail and look like I'm sporting a denim onesie, at least overalls are acceptable now (much to my dismay).  Which brings up the ever important question, what are your thoughts on overalls?  Yea or Nay?
