I wore this out to dinner last weekend in joint celebration of my birthday and our anniversary. It was a pretty chilly evening, so I was excited to break out my flannel, faux fur, and over-the-knee boots- basically my fall favorites :)
While St. Louis has a ton of good food, there isn't much near our house that's very... 'fancy'. Or really anything beyond a few Chinese, Mexican, and bar food joints. Since neither of us ever feel like driving far away for food, (...laziness and we feel guilty leaving our dog alone for long periods of time. I know, we're ridiculous...) Mexican won out. Really I just wanted chips & salsa and fried ice cream, since husband vetoed froyo for dinner.
PS- This vest in beige was my favorite last year, and this year they released it in gray and tan. The tan is too similar to last year's color to justify... right?! It's just so good I want all the colors, heaven forbid it sell out quickly like it did last year.

Hope you had a fun birthday dinner! (And I think froyo is a perfectly acceptable dinner option, although my husband also disagrees.) Love this look--you look cozy and warm but still glam with the dark lips and sparkly necklace.
