This is one of those outfits I was on the fence about posting... While I love the idea of it, the proportions aren't quite satisfactory. The skirt sits a little higher than I'd like, so my torso looks really short. That being said the details and color-combo edged it into the "post-worthy" territory. I especially love the idea of navy and emerald for the holidays. It's perfectly festive without going overboard. Also festive: these earrings. I scooped them up at a Kendra Scott Blogger event a few weeks ago, and they were definitely a splurge. They were totally worth it though. The drop portion is a separate piece, so they serve as both studs or dramatic drop earrings. I wear the studs on a regular basis and break out the fancy attachment every chance I get :)
I have a skirt that sits higher on the waist and when I wore it with a shirt tucked in, I got a lot of comments about how it didn't work for me. I do love the colors and think this outfit looks perfect just the way it is.

I cannot wear midi skirts. I always love them on everyone else, but I am short waisted and big boobed, lol, and I just can't seem to make them work for me. You look adorable.
Lovely colours -- all you need is a tighter top to balance out the volume of the skirt. A small heel would also help balance out the skirt. I love those earrings. So clever to have two in one!
I like the colours in this outfit too, the blue and green are nice together :)
