Weekend casual + Linkup

Over the weekend I met up with Caryl for lunch at Revel Kitchen.  The menu has a lot of healthy options and it gets pretty good reviews on Yelp, so we decided to try it out.

Moroccan Sweet Potatoes with Goat Cheese; SO good!

The food was SO good.  The menu is quite simple, but offers a lot of options.  You pick a bowl, wrap, or salad, and then a 'style', a protein, and any add-ons.  Caryl and I both picked bowls, I picked brown rice and quinoa and she got cauliflower rice.  I went with Asian style and topped it off with a friend egg.  Caryl got hers Southern style with local Missouri bacon.  We each got sides too, because why not try all the things?!  Both the Moroccan sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts were delicious.  If this place was closer to my house my food budget would be in serious trouble...  The option of sparkling water was also really exciting because I just love that stuff.
