Maxi Dresses + a Linkup

Maxi dresses are one of my absolute favorite wardrobe staples.  They're effortless, easily dress up or down, and can make such a bold statement.  This season in particular, I've scooped up a few really fun ones to freshen up my Summer wardrobe.  The two below were H&M acquisitions, and I just got this hot pink one to wear to a wedding later this summer.  Outside my comfort zone? Way yes, however despite my general aversion to pink clothing, I kind of love it. (Note... the last 'pink' outfit tag happened over a year ago on my blog lol)

I realize my two most recent looks only highlight one way to wear a maxi dress, with a denim jacket, but there are SO many other cute ways....

• Layer a t-shirt over and knot it to define your waist
• Over a button down when it cools off a little
• With a vest
• Fake a maxi skirt by wearing a blouse over
• Knot the hem to make a high-low hem

Even though I've already added a few maxis to my wardrobe this season, I've still been doing plenty of online window shopping (basically my favorite free hobby...)  So I thought I'd roundup a few of my recent favs, almost all under $100 (most way under!) I am particularly interest in that gorg tiered blue number,  which also comes in olive.  I think having to decide between the two colors might be the only reason I haven't scooped it up yet, especially at the sale price!  Which are your favs?
