I have always loved brocade. In college, I made myself a few skirts out of upholstery fabric, specifically brocade, because I loved the sheen, how crisp it looked pleated, and all the wild patterns available. (I also made myself drapes that matched...) So when brocade made a comeback this year, I was thrilled.
That being said, brocade booties definitely don't sound like a timeless investment (and I don't actually wear booties that often) so I shopped around awhile to find a budget-friendly pair. This pair fit the bill perfectly- under $50 (20% off for signing up for emails!), matches enough in my wardrobe, and a reasonable height heel. They're also quite comfy. Overall, a very satisfactory purchase. I've actually had them since December, but just haven't shot them till now, but don't fear, they're still in stock ;) I found they run true to size, I wore my usual size 8.
