Navy + Gold

When boyfriend jeans were introduced, I didn't think things could get better.  Baggy, comfy jeans that are socially acceptable, even when worn with heels?! Cha-ching.   Then some brilliant designer decided to deem swishy, pajama-esque tapered pants stylish.  Now I can feel like I am wearing jammies to the office.  Just to be safe, I layered on the gold accessories to distract from any notion of sleepwear.

Speaking of socially acceptable pajamas, embellished t-shirts are another one of my favorite pieces.  They're easy to care for (if a shirt requires ironing, I wear it until it is dirty... and then it sits in my closet forever) and it somehow looks so much more pulled together than a basic crew or v-neck.  Below are a few of my picks:
