loop the scarf around your neck, and tuck the ends through the front twice on each side to get this look

fold the scarf in half.  then take one side over and under the loop, and the other side under then over

There's nothing like a perfectly broken in pair of leather boots.  My Frye boots definitely fit that bill.  They've endured a huge amount of campus miles, so they've formed to fit my feet just so.  I'd wear them everyday, except then my other shoes might get sad.
