neutrals

Packing up my entire closet to move lent to the discovery of quite a few pieces I forgot I owned, like this vest and dress.  I loved both items when I purchased them, but had managed to lose them in the chaos of my closet.  That fact combined with the sheer amount of effort it took to pack the smallest room of our apartment, makes me realize I need to get rid of a lot and buy less.  Everything is basically in boxes now so getting rid of stuff is hard, but I can start with not shopping this month.  Considering I'm finally in a real city, this may be a challenge. (If I type "mall" into my Maps app and like 10 pop up within a reasonable distance.... ugh.)  I am however allowed to buy a few pairs of cheapie sunglasses from Forever 21, because even the husband pointed out that I wear the same 2-3 pairs over and over for blog photos.
Any tips for paring down your wardrobe?

  4. Very casual but cute look. I too have the problem about not enough closet space for the things I have. The best way for me is to do a fashion swap every few months. I also donate often.

  5. Did I miss where you are moving? Did you make it to Chicago? Either way I can feel your pain on moving. Packing is the only time that makes me hate being a shopaholic. That quickly fades tho and then I'm back to ordering online. Sigh.
Glad you rediscovered these pieces bc they are staples and look great on you! Http://morepiecesofme.com
