Over the weekend, the husband and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary, so of course I had to get all gushy and go back through wedding photos.  We tied the knot in Mesa, Arizona and had a really small ceremony with just family, and a slightly larger, but still intimate reception.  I hadn't been to Arizona prior to our wedding, so remotely planning everything sounded like a daunting task.  Thank goodness for family.  A tremendously generous and equally fabulous aunt-in-law, who I hadn't met prior to our engagement, volunteered to take charge of the day.  I sent her a "mood board" with colors and styles I liked, we chatted on the phone a few times, and we requested cake flavors, and a loose dinner menu.  The whole day turned out perfectly.

What I wore: pearl chandelier earrings, dress from Chatfield's Bridal, Stuart Weitzman patent pumps PS- if you live in the midwest and want a wedding dress with sleeves, I couldn't rave more about Chatfield's Bridal and the owner Debbie.  She is the biggest sweetheart ever, and has a great selection of dresses with sleeves without breaking the bank.
