Tuesday was the Mr's birthday; so my day started bright (actually dark) and early since I picked up donuts to send to the office in celebration.  Husband didn't even want a birthday cake, just donuts.  I won't complain about that.  Although when my day involves rolling out of bed and trudging somewhere when it's 12° and practically dark outside, I'm going to count leggings as pants.  
My rule of key is that if leggings are going to qualify as non-sleepwear/workout apparel, your bum must be covered.  All of the bum.  None of that sneaky bottom cleavage.  They also need to be thick- like bend down and touch your toes and the fabric is still completely opaque -thick, because nobody wants to know your business anymore than you want them to know your business.  /End legging rant.
