I get a little excited about dressing for holidays, Christmas especially.  I usually stick to metallics, or red or green separately to convey my holiday spirit.  (Or just lots of sequins...)  If I wear primary red and "Christmas green" together, I feel a little silly and cartoonish.  So to avoid that, when pairing red and green, I like to pick a less "Christmas-y" tone of red or green.  In this case I opted for olive green with my festive red sweater, evidently one of my favorite combinations.
