Leona LBD Take 2

Dress: Leona NY 75% off! c/o  //  Turtleneck: Old Navy $8!  //  Necklace: J.Crew (nearly identical)  //  Purse: D'Andrea 50% off! c/o  //  Pumps: Schutz via Piperlime (similar 44% off!)  //  Bangles: Nordstrom

One of my resolutions this year is to re-wear stuff more and buy a whole lot less.  So I'm starting strong with this dress.  I shared an outfit featuring this LBD, wait for it, just ONE post ago.  I know, it's fashion blasphemy.  But seriously, look how versatile it is!  I'm a little obsessed.  I mean you could basically put shiny gold buttons on a paper sack and I'd like it, but folks obsession has much higher standards.  Obsession requires pockets, the perfect sturdy ponte fabric, and gold buttons, while being machine washable.  50% off is good too.
Speaking of goals, I have some other ones this year.  I'll share more goal detail later, because you probably got your monthly fill of me yesterday.  In case you're on the edge of your seat though, my goal "movie trailer" is below...
  • Eat more meals that require silverware
  • Master yoga, or at least be able to touch my toes
  • Shop less, a lot less
  • Brush my teeth and wash my face twice daily; the latter is definitely the struggle...
  • Run another half marathon/Actually prepare for said half marathon
  • Figure out my professional aspirations
  • Improve my photography skills
  • Finish painting/repairing our house
Thrilling right?  I think re-wearing things is a good place to start though.  I'll ease my way in ;)

  8. Haha! Yes...go girl! Never anything wrong with recycling. Just piggy backing of your last post, there are so many ways to dress one item..that's also a goal of mine. I want to show in one post how many ways to wear an item, it's just hard not having a camera! ;) anywho, your going great! I also love all the gold details!

  9. I love that you wore this twice in a row! It honestly looks like a completely different dress, which means it must be super versatile. I love the striped shirt underneath it, and the bracelets you chose. Also, your resolutions made me laugh. Especially the first one hahahaha.

  10. If you hadn't have told me it was the same dress, I would not have remembered! You styled it different enough and that rear shot of the buttons and your heels is just perfect! I wish I could do another half marathon again, but I've realized after the two I have tried that a 10K is my realistic limit with the amount of time I know I put into it for training. I'm totally with you on the twice daily regime for face washing/brushing. AND can I just say - after a few months of taking Pilates, I was ridiculously surprised that I could not only touch my feet, but I could bend over and lay my hands flat on the floor! I'm a bit rusty now though :)
