So... these photos are kind of old. There is definitely no snow on the ground today, but I found them on my camera roll and still love this t-shirt (totally got it before I saw Beyoncé wearing it... I think I had to have it because I'd just finished watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix...) and I realized I haven't actually written about my experience with Firmoo glasses.
Let me start by saying when Firmoo reached out to me to collaborate, I was a little skeptical... prescription glasses for so cheap?? Suspect. However, my current frames and lenses are from like 8th grade, and the company requested an honest review, so I figured I didn't have anything to lose. (Sometimes brands require certain lingo, only positive feedback, etc... I say 'no thanks' to those brands unless I already like and use them..)
So, I got on their site, and started "virtually" trying on glasses until I found the pair I liked best. There's definitely a bit of risk ordering glasses online, although I ended up liking my pair even better in person, and more importantly I can see well in them. I've bought glasses over the internet before, and they gave me a terrible headache because the prescription didn't quite seem right, so I was very excited when my new glasses were not only cute, but I can wear them all day with no discomfort of any kind. I did have a bit of an adjustment period, it took wearing them a few hours at a time to sort've warm up to them at first. That could very well be chalked up to the fact that my old glasses have such a weak prescription, but either way, after a few short shifts of wearing them, they were great for all day wear. Overall, I'm super pleased with my glasses and would order again if I'm looking for a budget-friendly option.
