Do you ever find something you love, but simply can't justify the price tag? I do quite often, file it away to revisit later, and then usually just forget about it.
However, this jacket was the opposite. I've been looking for an embroidered or embellished jacket for quite some time, and stumbled upon this one when it was a new arrival. I was instantly smitten, but the $158 price tag just felt high for a faux leather, private label (a.k.a. a department store's brand) jacket. So, I kept my eye on it patiently awaiting it to either get really low in stock or go on sale. I seriously checked weekly.
Well my waiting paid off! When I was at the mall doing a return a couple weekends ago, I walked through Dillard's shoe section and stumbled upon the beauties I'm wearing in this post at a hefty markdown, which reminded me that I hadn't checked my jacket for a few days. I immediately got on their website on my phone and HURRAH it was 65% off! I ordered 2 sizes to increase my odds of success, and patiently awaited the shipment.
When it arrived, I could not have been more satisfied! The fit is adorable and it feels quite luxurious. I ended up keeping the medium- while I wouldn't say it runs a whole size small, it definitely runs slim particularly through the shoulders and arms. I've already worn it multiple times, and I think it will be perfect over a bohemian white dress or with boyfriend jeans and a slouchy white tee for spring.
