Weekday Wardrobe

I'm excited to kick off a new series this week- 'Weekday Wardrobe'.  Each day last week I took a picture of my real life outfit to share a roundup this week.  Not only is this a way to ensure I share new pieces in a timely fashion, but it keeps me from wearing t-shirts and jeans everyday too ;)

This outfit is basically made up of a few wardrobe workhorses.  I wear this striped tee at least twice a month, and this sweater every week.  These jeans and shoes are on major rotation as well.

The combo of this dress and jacket was a pleasantly unexpected surprise.  Originally I wanted to wear the jacket with a striped dress, but it just looked bad.  I had forgotten about this dress until I was skimming my dresses and noticed it in the reds-oranges section.  I was quite satisfied with how to two paired together, and will likely be repeating it again.

I have the luxury of working from home occasionally, and this last week I did so on Thursday.  Usually, I just wear my pjs all day, but in the interest of being motivated to get my Fitbit steps in and take a run during lunch, I put on cute workout clothes.  Then it rained all day, so I sat inside in my cute workout clothes lol.

After work on this day I had a Women in IT networking event and happy hour- so there was lots of standing and I couldn't believe how comfy these shoes were.
