Like I mentioned a couple weeks ago, blues and neutrals are my jam this season. I love how mixing variety of neutrals is so effortlessly chic. Normally, the idea of navy, brown, camel, and gray in one outfit just sounds like a bland hodge-podge, but in the rich tones available this Spring, it just works. I consciously picked a lighter gray top and denim to break it up- I think the diversity in saturation helps create interest in an otherwise plain color combo. A variety of patterns and textures helps spice it up as well.
Speaking of 'spicing it up'- these shoes. They were an item I saw in store, couldn't stop thinking about, and finally caved and ordered them online. They are perfect. They were comfortable from the get-go, and seem to go with everything. The first day I wore them, I clocked 7000 steps in them and while I'm not going to tell you they were as comfy as my favorite sneakers, I was quite pleasantly surprised by how good my feet felt.

Navy and camel leopard scarf [exact] on mega sale for $8 // Curved hem slub tee [exact] under $18 // Release hem destructed skinny jeans [exact] under $25 // Reversible faux leather tote [exact] // Color block suede tasseled sandals [exact] // CND Vinylux polish in 'cream puff' [exact]
Oh and if you've been curious to try the released hem skinny jean trend, but unwilling to spend much on them (*raises hand*) these are a great 'trial' pair. I was eyeing this pair from Banana for awhile, but even on promo they'd be about $60 and I simply couldn't justify that for such a trendy piece I may not end up loving. The pair I ended up picking are under $25, and surprisingly high quality. My only grievance is that the pockets are TINY, and they do run quite small. I went up about one size from my usual denim size, and they're perfect.
