what i'm wednesday
testing out dry shampoos: I have 5 various brands of dry shampoo presently in my bathroom, and I'm determined to find at least one I like. So far, each one I've tried has either been too fragrant or too chalky. Once I've given each a fair chance, I'll probably write a review, because I can't possibly the only one who's hated every dry shampoo I've tried. Have any dry shampoos you love?
loving gold heeled sandals: I got these Thursday and wore them three days straight. They're tremendously comfy and dress up or down. What more can I want in a shoe? Oh, a metallic heel? Yup, they've got that too.
nomming on marshmallow crispy oreos: My grocery just started carrying a bunch of new Oreo flavors; like birthday cake, lemon, peanut butter, cookie dough, watermelon... I never even gave most of them a chance, but I can confidently say the marshmallow crispy ones are the best. They're just that good. They're also hard to find. I came across a display at Target with about seven packages left, and texted E and asked how many I should buy. It took him too long to respond, so I just bought one, then I got a message that simply said, "all of them." Sorry babe.
waiting for this sequined tote to go on sale: How cute is this tote? It's from Target, so based on principle alone I can't buy it full price even though it's only $25. But as soon as there's a Cartwheel deal or promo, it'll probably go home with me. Oh Target. [edit to add: oh hey, it's on sale now! It wasn't when I wrote this... looks like a trip to Target is in order!]
watching scandal season 3: I actually finished up the third season of Scandal over the weekend, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who may be progressing through the show now, but let's just say season 1&2 were better, and everyone wasn't so... psychopathic. I don't know if I like a single character anymore, and I feel like the writer got a little self-indulgent. That being said, I'm sure I'll still tune in for the fourth season once it hits Netflix.
not so sure about fringe: I like most trends. However, I'm not sure how I feel about fringe. Actually, that's a lie. I don't like it. Nothing would make me wear fringe, unless I needed to dress up for a 20's party or as a native american... and I don't think either occasion is something I need to worry about any time soon. {although I did have themed parties in high school that would have required both... }
Hope you're having a great Wednesday!
The sauve dry shampoo has been my favorite I put it on before bed and when I wake up the ashy color is gone and so are the oils ;)

I never thought to use it at night! That's brilliant! I'll definitely be trying that soon, thanks so much!
DeleteI've only used the Tresemme dry shampoo and a sample of some random brand from my hairdresser, so I'd love to read your review! I don't like using them that much. I also agree about fringe...there are quite a few trends I've been avoiding lately!

Glad I'm not the only one not sold on fringe, I feel like it's everywhere!! Thanks for reading! xoxo
DeleteI like the suave in the gold can. I'm currently trying the Toni & Guy dry, and i'm totally Meh.....it's a bit too perfumie. I'm with you on the fringe! I picked up a black fringe dress on super sale when I worked at WHBM bc I wanted something for Halloween. That's about the only time I can see myself wearing it! EEK!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of a salon product snob, but my sister raved about the suave too! And I absolutely agree on the TIGI scent, it's SO strong. Thanks for reading :)
