plaid jeans

I adore plaid (as evidenced by how many posts have 'plaid' as a tag). I always have, and I think I always will.  So when it got popular enough that companies were making more than just shirts in plaid, I got a little giddy.  I've been looking for the perfect skinny plaid pants for a couple seasons (at the perfect price too), and I stumbled upon these in the clearance section at Nordstrom Rack for, get this, under $15!  While I had more of a skinny trouser in mind, I couldn't pass these bad boys up.  They are from the juniors department, so they're a smidgen lower than I prefer, but everything else about them was too perfect.  Initially I paired them with a cream blouse, but when I put it back on for photos it was super wrinkled, so instead I opted for this lightweight charcoal sweater.  (I think I preferred the cream.)
Are plaid pants something you'd consider for Fall?  Or are they a little much for your taste?
If you're part of the plaid everything fan club like me, then you may be interested in a few other plaid pretties.  I'm especially curious about the plaid skinny pants for only $27.  I think I'll need to give them a try :)
