Happy Thanksgiving & Weekly Linkup

Happy Thanksgiving!!  I'm mixing things up and sharing a peek at what my Thanksgiving has in store this year.  It will just be my husband, parents, and me for a cozy Thanksgiving Dinner.  Initially we planned to keep it really simple, but the foodie/hostess in me went ahead and continued to add things to the menu and dress the table more.  Speaking of which, Marshall's home decor selection was on point!  I ventured in just yesterday, assuming everything would be picked over, but ended up with a few perfect finishing pieces. I snagged a few $2 place mats, and these adorable Kate Spade-esque gold dotted plates for a little over a buck a piece.  Adding those little touches to my existing plates really made it feel festive.  For a pop of color I added a few pears I had in my fruit basket and simply stuck a brown paper "leaf" in with a straight pin embellished with a gold bead.  If I was having a more formal affair, I'd use the pears as name tags, but since it's just family I left them blank. (They'd also be really cute printed with "give thanks", if only I knew which box the printer was in...)
Below is the menu for today, and I'll be updating the items with links to recipes as I have a chance to write them up, and photograph the final product.  For me, it's not Thanksgiving without black olives, mashed potatoes, or cornbread stuffing.  What's your favorite Thanksgiving dish?
