Camo and I have quite a history...

Back in high school when I was exploring possible colleges, I was pretty set on my now alma mater, Indiana University.  However, that's also where my high school boyfriend was seriously considering, so my parents wanted to be very sure I wasn't going there for him.  I wasn't.  To make sure they believed me, I looked into a few other places and even went to visit a few.  One school I visited was Oklahoma University.  It looked pretty on the mailers they sent me, and they had a business program of sorts.  So, one weekend my parents and I ventured down for a formal campus tour.  Before the tour even began, I knew I wouldn't attend college there.  Everyone in the tour group was wearing camouflage in some form or another.  My memory may be exaggerated, but while I sat in the initial meeting, looking down at my sequined flats, I knew I didn't belong there.  I also formally swore off camouflage that very moment.

Fast forward quite a few years, and here I am embracing it open-heartedly.  I blame J.Crew.

  5. Do you know that your post your outfit details twice? I wasn't sure if you meant to do that but I've noticed it on a lot of your recent posts so I apologize if you meant to do that.

    1. Hey Kimi! I saw a few other bloggers do something similar, and I liked that it allowed people to get the outfit details without scrolling through all the pictures or reading the body text if they'd like. If it's distracting or bothersome though, I'd love to know. Thanks for reading! xoxo
