Oh hey!  Last week I swore I would do better about blogging, commenting, linking, and all those other blogger-y things, but alas it's Thursday and my first post of the week.  Oh snap.  But I have a long-winded reason.  Hear me out ;)
During college I worked at Nordstrom every summer and winter break, and I loved it.  The other day, when I was picking up a pair of jeans there (for my dad, I'm staying strong on my shopping ban!)  I ran into one of my old co-workers, who talked me into coming back until I figured out my career aspirations (I could write another whole post on my quarter life crisis... ).  So, I'm back at Nordstrom for the time being, and I was quickly reminded the exhausting nature of 9 hour retail shifts, and how terrible I am at managing my time when I don't have a traditional Monday-Friday 8-6 job.
So that's basically a really long excuse about why my blog has been a little barren this week.  I think I may finally be getting back in the swing of things (or at least I've written and scheduled a few posts today).
