On Saturday, I went to the mall to do a couple returns.   At that mall, I only spent $12 on new sunglasses I definitely needed, but I couldn't stop thinking about this skirt that I tried on at H&M.  The only one left in my size had an ink stain on it, and while it wasn't super obvious, I'm anal about things like that.  The generous 10% final sale discount they offered definitely wasn't lucrative enough for me to take a chance and try to get it out either.  Then, as I was passing a different mall on my way home I caved and made a quick stop to see if that H&M had it.  They did!  AND I got a 20% off one item coupon code for signing up for their emails, take that 10% defective merchandise 'discount'.  Ha!

Once I got home, I realized I don't really know what tops to wear with it, or where I'll ever wear such a thing.  So obviously I need to plan a tea party, wear this skirt with a fussy lace top and eat cucumber sandwiches, pe it fours, and macarons.  Okay, I'm getting really excited about this now.  Caryl and Annie are in; who else wants to come? ;)  In the mean time, I dressed it down a little for church yesterday with a casual cotton t-shirt and some flats.
PS- on Friday, one of my favorite bloggers Jen over at Fashionably Employed shared a little Q&A about style inspiration featuring a ton of great bloggers, including yours truly ;)

PPS- I had a ton of self control and only scooped up a couple things from my Friday Finds-- this printed t-shirt and this tank, both absolute steals, and both entirely Caryl's fault. lol!

  2. The skirt is ridiculously amazing. I was happy you found it then sad it had an ink stain then happy when you found it AGAIN sans stain! Haha! It really is perfect though! And now I want a macaron!

    1. Hi Jessica, I'm so sorry for the delay in response! Unfortunately I'm pretty attached to this skirt still, HOWEVER Mindy Mae's Market just put one out that's nearly identical! http://mindymaesmarket.com/collections/new-releases/products/ibiza
