shop my shoe closet

I have a mild shoe problem, which wasn't helped by my discovery earlier this year of 6pm.com.  Seriously, this place is dangerous.  However I score better deals here than pretty much anywhere else.  Below are a selection of my absolute favorite shoes, all available at 6pm (even if originally purchased elsewhere).  They offer free shipping, but not free returns.  The other downfall is no reviews.  This shortcoming can be overcome by simply finding reviews elsewhere (I usually have great luck with either Amazon, Nordstrom, or Zappos).  Also, if you ever find anything reduced by 30% or less on 6pm, it will also be available at Zappos (6pm is owned by Zappos and essentially their 'outlet') which means free return shipping.  Cha-ching.
Row 1: Nine West sequined loafer | Enzo Angiolini calf hair, suede, and patent flats
Row 2: Sperry Topsider boat shoe | Sperry leopard loafer
Row 3: Lisa for Donald Pliner python embossed flats | Charles by Charles David ballet flats
Row 4: Sam Edelman leopard calf hair and black glitter pumps | Chinese Laundry captoe pumps
Row 5: Enzo Angiolini chunky heel metallic sandals | Vince Camuto chunky heel hot pink pop sandals
Row 6: Sam&Libby suede ankle booties | Stuart Weitzman patent peeptoe platform heels
*Prices at 6pm do fluctuate.
And since 6pm lacks reviews, mine are below:
Nine West sequined loafers: These were comfortable out of the box and run true to size.  I have multiple colors because they're so great.  They are quite flat, lacking any arch support- but for me that's to be expected with flats.
Enzo Angiolini calf hair flats: I am obsessed with these flats.  I have two colors of them as well.  They are a very low profile flat, so anticipate toe cleavage.  They run a smidge small- but not enough for me to need a size up.  They do stretch with wear.
Sperry boat shoes in gray, nude, and pale pink: These are my go-to casual errand shoes.  They are super comfortable, offer arch support, and pretty much match everything.  They run true to size.
Sperry leopard calf hair loafer: I have these in two colors also (see a trend emerging??  I have a problem....) and they are crazy comfy.  There was a break-in period for sure, but that may have been due to extensive walking across campus.  I've had these puppies for nearly 2 years and am contemplating buying another pair for when they wear out.  That being said, they wear tremendously well, the leather under the calf hair is printed as well, so wear is hardly visible.  They are also available in black, red, and cobalt right now.
Lisa for Donald Pliner flats: Guess what?! I have two colors of these too.  They run true to size and are quite comfy.
Charles by Charles David ballet flats: These are my comfiest flats.  They are a little delicate, but that's not devastating for the price point. They run true to size.
Sam Edelman leopard pumps: I was shocked by how comfortable these were.  They have a sizable hidden platform, and a very cushy lining.  The chunky heel makes them incredibly easy to walk in.  They run true to size.
Chinese Laundry cap toe pumps: These were a full price buy when they first came out last winter, and definitely worth it.  They have a very reasonable heel height, making them comfortable for long days of standing.  They run true to size, and come in other colors (which I am seriously contemplating adding to my collection....).
Enzo Angiolini metallic chunky heeled sandals: These were a total impulse buy and I couldn't be happier.  They are quite comfortable and super versatile.  They run true to size.  The strap across the toes can wear with extensive walking- but I lasted a day in downtown Chicago in them without problem.
Vince Camuto chunky heeled color pop sandals: Obsessed.  I would wear these practically every day if they weren't so bold.  They are very comfortable and run true to size.  They come in a gray/citrus combo also, which is tremendously tempting.
Sam&Libby ankle boots: These are probably the best value in my entire closet.  I paid $35 for them last fall and have gotten SO.MUCH.WEAR out of them.  They are the most comfortable boots I own (which includes much nicer and flatter options, these are more comfortable than my Frye boots for example).
Stuart Weitzman peep toe pumps: These were my wedding shoes, and I definitely didn't get them for the sale price. (absolutely worth it though)  I would be lying if I said they're comfortable, but what 5" heels are comfortable?  They are however absolutely gorgeous, enough that they were my favorite part of my entire wedding ensamble.  They run true to size, and are surprisingly easy to walk-in, but I wouldn't recommend them for anything that requires extensive walking or standing, just looking pretty.

  1. I've been shopping through 6pm for about five years now - they are awesome! The majority of my shoe shopping, I do online, and most of them come from there.

    1. Oh my goodness, I had no idea it's been around for that long!! I used to be a loyal endless shopper and then when amazon took that over I had to find a replacement. 6pm is so great!!
