New York Day 2

Day two in New York City with Caryl was easily my favorite! (Read all about day one here)  We fit SO much in just one day.  We started the day off getting ready and taking outfit photos of each of our outfits for the RewardStyle party in the evening, that way we didn't have to stress about time and lighting later in the day.  Then we changed back into our casual clothes, my outfit above, and headed to brunch.  We ended up walking a little ways to Cookshop, because my favorite restaurant app highly recommended it.
Brunch at Cookshop was excellent, easily in the top three I've ever had, and I've had some serious brunch.  I got the Cookshop Breakfast Bowl, which was shredded kale and spinach with feta, hazelnuts, faro, wheatberries, a couple falafel and a fried egg on top.  I could happily eat this everyday.  It was the perfect combo of fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and so many textures.  Caryl got the Huevos Rancheros, and the taste I snuck was incredible.  Overall, I would highly recommend Cookshop!

Seriously, doesn't the entire menu sound delicious?  A table near us got the burger and just looking at it made my mouth water; next time I'm in NYC I may have to give it a try, or the Cornmeal Raspberry Griddle Cakes because those also sound spectacular.

Yup, I'm salivating just looking at this again...

After brunch we headed back to the hotel to get ready for the RewardStyle NYFW Rooftop party.  I've included a few pictures below, but check out the dedicated post for complete outfit details :)

The venue was decorated so festively!  Everything was branded and it was just all so 'grammable.

It was also really fun meeting a few ladies from blog world in real life!

Then we headed back to the hotel to change into comfy clothes, and had Shake Shack, because NYC. It was pretty much the perfect diner-style burger, but I have no words for the concrete.  Wait, I liked.  SO.GOOD.  Oh man.  Chocolate ice cream with chocolate covered pretzels and peanut butter swirls? It doesn't even need adjectives.  After Shake Shack we headed to Time Square.
We went in a few shops, stood on the red illuminated steps ($10 to whoever knows why those are actually there??! except I won't really pay you, but I will be tremendously impressed...) and clocked plenty of walking to make up for our dinner ;)
Then, we retired to our hotel lobby that evening to draft up our blog posts for the following Monday.  Check out Caryl's post too and stay tuned for day three!
